1. Thread the fishing line through the hole |
| 2. Even up the ends of the line |

3. Tie a knot making the lines act as one (a sewing knot) |
4. Loop the line around the frame of the wreath or hook of whatever you are hanging |

5. Then loop the hanger through the split of the lines near the brass hanger |
| 6. Pull the line taut and place the hanger on top of the door or window frame with the hole side on top and the padded side on the side of the door or window frame |
